It is with great joy and excitement that I take this opportunity to introduce myself to you and your family. Growing up, family was and still is, very important to me. I was born and grew up in rural NC, just outside of Charlotte. A 1998 graduate of Piedmont High School, I spent most of my early life working for my parents small automotive repair business. The other family business was racing cars, which I happily went into almost as soon as I could walk. There, I found some success winning several championships, as well as over 550 feature wins in various levels of an auto racing career that spanned just over 26 years. While racing as an adult, I would continue to work in the automotive field. However, I could tell that something else was missing in my life. After some time of prayer and consultation, I accepted my call into ministry in 2012. Since then I have had the joy of seeing Christ work in marvelous ways in the lives of people that I know well, and some that I don't.
God has blessed me with three wonderful teenagers - Sabrina (18), Trae (17), and Mykaela (15). I wouldn't be the same without all that they bring to my life.
St Paul's called to be their pastor in May 2020 - of course that was in the midst of the COVID pandemic - and I am looking forward to all the ways that God will work in the lives of those in Cherokee County as we all continue to receive the grace of Christ in our lives. I hope that you will join us sometime. May the peace of our Lord be with you.
